This appears to have worked but it closed and I got a notification saying the linux kernel closed steam due to low memory (or something alog those lines).


It appears Issue 3 isn’t solved after all, it crashes now.


Issue 1: disbling those seemed to have worked
Issue 3: I forced proton (11.0) disable my dlcs and it worked and i have re-enable a few and it still works, just have to try the rest


I will try your fixes later, I installed steam fom their site (a .deb file)


Issue 1: unfortunately neither of those worked.
Issue 2: I used Proton 11.0 and a fix from ProtonDB and it works now
Issue 3: I am not dual booting, and I will look more into this issue.

I would be fine with installing more RAM myself but with the current prices I don’t think I’m going to do that.
I would be fine with changing distros, in fact I used to use Mint Cinnamon then Mint MATE (Cinnamon I had issues with freezing quite often) and now Kubuntu, but I like KDE a lot.
