For now…

For now…

Any plans or suggestions for the phone side? I’ve been using runkeeper for a very long time and would love something self hosted but don’t know what to use for recording a track.
I ended up at PocketID. Authentik (and I think authelia too) is good but way more complicated than what I needed for a homelab. A lot of people like VoidAuth, but i didn’t care for the visual style. Don’t think I ever tried keycloak.

SimpleX is pretty good if you’re looking for a signal/sms replacement rather than something slack-like
You can try reaching out to ente directly. They’ve been pretty responsive in the past even though I’m also self hosting.
They don’t even have to “look”. Just grab the next resume off the stack.

I wish openmower supported more HW.
There’s also Vitulus at https://lacina.dev/ that seems like it has potential, but I haven’t looked too deeply at what state it’s in.
I’ve been pretty happy with ente after moving from immich a year or two ago when the breaking changes were basically every time I opened the app on my phone.

What changes are they making to always free?
On the client side, tempus is the best Android app I’ve found for interacting with a navidrome server.
I feel like I’ve never heard anything but complaints about the all-in-one image.
On the other hand, I’ve been using the community maintained docker image for a few years with minimal issues.
I find it rather concerning that both of circlus’s GitHub repos are empty.
SimpleX and Briar are both pretty good for messengers that are only able to talk to people you know.
